Using the beadboard backsplash will definitely get you more style along with functionality while only costing you a few bucks. Basically you can easily get the cottage style by using this particular backsplash. The very first thing that needs to do is to measure the backsplash area carefully. Make sure to mark the location of switches and electrical outlets precisely.

Next thing to do is to cut the board of beadboard paneling using circular saw. Remember the measurement that you have to cut the board precisely. Use pencils to mark the area of switches and electrical outlets before cutting them. Drill holes first before cutting the area for those switches and outlets. After the board is cut you should test it and see if it fits already.

Once you have really sure that the board is fit the area then apply adhesive at the back side of the board. It is recommended to use heavy duty adhesive for construction. Right after the adhesive is applied place and presses the board to the wall. To ensure the board stays on the wall use finish nailer or hammer to fasten the board. You can apply the finishing touch of the beadboard backsplash by painting it
